A place before it was a brand

Out in Hutchinson County, in the Texas Panhandle, a set of adobe walls stood on the open plain for the better part of a century. First a trading post, then a ruin, then a landmark that buffalo hunters and cattle outfits steered by. In June 1874, twenty eight hunters and one woman held those walls for days against roughly seven hundred riders. Billy Dixon's rifle shot from that fight, close to a mile, is still argued about in the Panhandle.

We took the name because it says what we want from a pair of sunglasses. They should hold up. They should keep the glare off long enough for you to see what is coming. And they should look like they belong out there, not under mall lighting.
